The old post was so out of date that it was easier to just make a new one.
Hello!
I'm GreenPortal, formerly known as Qati. I also go by Green, GP, or Jeep. I'm over 25, Asexual, and go by any pronouns (My gender is "I dunno").
I'm into all kinds of creative hobbies, particularly drawing, but writing, animating, 3D modeling, bookbinding, sewing, making OCs, painting, and many other random things are there too. My most common subject is my Novakid OC, Soup, just because he's easy to make in all kinds of mediums, and he's designed to cheer me up when I doodle him. I've been working in various bakeries since 2016, so cake/cookie decorating and making pastries are also part of my creative output.
I'm not really a fandom-centric person, though there's lots of media I like. I'm mostly into videogames, with my favorites being Psychonauts, Transistor, Twisted Wonderland, Pokemon, Minecraft, and whatever I'm hyperfixated on this week. I'm also into horror movies, mostly older and cheesy ones than slashers and gore. My top favorites are Killer Klowns from Outer Space, Night of the Lepus, and The Abominable Dr. Phibes, and I think that gives a complete picture of what my tastes are like. (My favorite as an "actually scary" movie is Duel.) My other interests include biking and camping, Halloween, science, Volkswagen buses, martial arts, and my cats, Anya and Tootie.
( Cat pic )
Guess I'm going to be more active here now. A mostly text site is going to be hard for me to get used to.
But it won't stop my Soup posting.

Author's Notes: Originally written for OC-tober 2020's Day 14, "Cornered." Anya would be going by her original human name in this time period, but I didn't bother to find a new one for her and am claiming "avoiding confusion" instead. As an extra bonus, here are some traditional Slovak lullabies that I found and listened to while I wrote for an idea of what Anya might have been singing: (1) (2)

More Houses Sit Empty

Suffering
Embarking on new efforts and hopes
Stuck between two worlds
But a Tuesday
The end of an extraordinary
Could have started untangling
Among the tough tests awaiting
An insurmountable expense
Went nowhere
That dire picture is painted
Just for drinking
She's ready to die for her faith
Suffering
Embarking on new efforts and hopes
Stuck between two worlds
But a Tuesday
The end of an extraordinary
Could have started untangling
Among the tough tests awaiting
An insurmountable expense
Went nowhere
That dire picture is painted
Just for drinking
She's ready to die for her faith

Hello!
I'm GreenPortal, or just Green. I've also gone by Qati on older sites. I'm almost in my 30s, Asexual, and use she/they.
I'm into all kinds of arts, including drawing, painting, writing, sculpture, a bit of sewing, and I've been trying to teach myself digital art since the end of 2017. To help myself learn I've been running an ask blog on Tumblr called Cosmic-Wanderers, starring my Starbound OCs. I have a bachelor's degree in art--with a focus in metalsmithing and jewelry--and a minor in creative writing, which is why I'm currently working in retail.
My current fandom obsession is the Chucklefish game Starbound. I'll happily talk about my OCs for hours. Pokemon is also a lifelong fandom I've had, though I don't create as much content for it. Other fandoms/things that I enjoy include Banjo-Kazooie, Bioshock, The Elder Scrolls, Gravity Falls, Grim Fandango, Minecraft, Portal, Psychonauts, Rocket League, The Sims, Transistor, and Welcome to Night Vale. My non-fandom interests include biking, camping, cryptozoology, fishkeeping, tiny houses, and my kitty, Cleocatra.
I can also be found on Pillowfort and Steam.
